Upon graduating with her bachelor's of nursing, Kimber went straight to the emergency department in a trauma 1 center to practice. Although she loved her time there, she knew she wouldn't be there for long. Since she was a little girl, she always understood that she was inherently creative. However, it wasn't until she discovered this line of work that she began to embrace her creative strength and unexpectedly thrive from it. Starting with working for one of The best plastic surgeons in the US, she quickly became enthralled with the elusive industry. She felt it was the only area of nursing where she could utilize her creativity as it came naturally to her, and she was undoubtedly good at it.

After a few years of watching, learning and slowly building s clientele at a dental office, Kimber decided to launch her own business, Frida Beauty Bar, in July 2017.

Over the past few years, Kimber developed the idea of Frank's by Frida with a vision to have an aesthetic practice that is not only welcoming but inclusive and inviting to all people. With countless clients mentioning to her that their husbands and partners wanted to find a place where medical aesthetics made sense for them, the idea Franks was born.
